Rajmund Ziemski was born in 1930 in Radom, died in 2005 in Warsaw. He completed his artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1949-1955 under Artur Nacht-Samborski. In the year of graduation, he took part in the National Exhibition of Young Artists "Against War - Against Fascism", which was held at the Warsaw Arsenal. From 1958 he lectured at his alma mater.
In 1979 he became the laureate of the Jan Cybis.
