Martyna Czech

Martyna Czech was born in 1990. She is a graduate of the Art Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice in the painting studio of prof. Andrzej Tobis. She is the winner of the 42nd Grand Prix of the Bielska Autumn 2015 Biennale of Painting and Troika 2017 Talents in the Visual Arts category.

An important impulse to her work is the suffering of animals caused by man. In his paintings, he uses the language of primitive art, creates performances that surprise with expression; seemingly awkward, with deformations and aggressive colors; images that bring strength of expression and a wealth of emotions.
