Robert Konrad

He was born in 1970. He graduated from the Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the Illustration Studio of Janusz Stanny. The artist's work can be admired in painting as well as graphics, illustrations and drawings. His output includes several hundred works for press and book publishing houses, as well as for albums. Robert's unusual view of art and talent was appreciated by, among others Sztandar Młodych, Przyjaciółka, Wprost, Readers Digest, Playboy, Businessman Magazine, Sukces, Rzeczpospolita, Przekrój, Newsweek, Fakt, Bild, SąamRze. Light and space play an extremely important role in the artist's works, as well as an aura of mystery and understatement, and making the depicted scenes and characters unreal. The places he shows are on the verge of fantasy and reality, allowing the viewer to complete the story. Most of the drawings are invoiced thanks to the use of an original technique of preparing the base. Moreover, a frequent theme in his works is a human figure and a portrait full of dynamism and vitality. Expression, bold brush strokes, colors - all this adds freshness to the works and makes them unique, unique and recognizable. His works are in private collections both in Poland and abroad. He lives and works in Warsaw.
